In response to many requests from people who do not want to do long mountain walks, a group of people have come together and have decided to revive “Rainbow Ramblers.”
Their aim is to have “sociable walks on the many looped walks and way marked walks” which have sprung up around Cork and the surrounding counties. They go on to say that ”the walks will not be strenuous and are mainly off-road on tracks and paths.”
The are planing to have their first walk on Sunday the 4th of November, with a car pool leaving the near the old Kino Cinema on Washington street at 11am
There will be a meeting for those interested in The Other Place Café on Wednesday 7th November at 7.30pm. If you cannot attend but wish to join the group, contact Doc for further information on 087 – 6783726 or byemail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
