GayCork.com was setup in January 2002 as an online resource for the LGBT community of Cork in Ireland. Since then it has become the online space where LGBT people can come together to discuss all things Cork and gay, to laugh, make friends, and even meet new potential partners.

GayCork.com emerged largely because the needs of Cork’s LGBT community were not being met by existing Irish gay websites of that time, and we endeavoured to make the site genuinely useful and up to date with a serious attempt has been made to answer almost any question that might be asked about gay life in Cork.

Over the years our website traffic has grown exponentially and we currently have 28k absolute unique visitors per month (Google Analytics Jan 2010) and has long since become the definitive guide for LGBT life in the south of Ireland.

We’ve also partnered with local LGBT events/organisations to help them setup their own websites. As a result we setup GayinCork.com to cater for this.

GayCork.com is a privately owned and voluntary run website and it is not associated with organisations and / or companies.
