Eurovision fans from across Europe will be making their gay way to Pantibar next weekend for two days of all things Eurovision, organised by the Irish Eurovision fan club. On the Friday, my basement will be echoing to the sounds of Euro hits that never made it to the finals (I know! These are serious fans), and on Saturday there'll be live performances from previous Irish Eurovision entries, and some uber-fans. It doesn't get any gayer than that!

See you all there!!!

I've promised the folks I'll visit them in Kerry. So, so, turn. All my life I've waited for a Melodifestivalen night in my own country; how can I not attend?

People in Dublin are generally "too cool" for Eurovision and National Final madness. Ooh, I don't know. It would be a fun road trip! We could go in my Focus a la CatCat!

Fab weekend indeed, and I have to say Limerick ruled the night [:-D]

Me thinks a Munster Euro Night is on the cards as a result!

Speakers went wonky and were intermittent for a while, and then they stopped the music at 1.45. 3/4 of an hour before they were meant to stop.

so not really sure, but pretty certain Fada/Breanoh sang 'Fairytale' (possibly with the manager of Riddlers in Limerick dancing along [;-)]).

Fada is in Anto's X Factor competition. Securing his place in week 2 with 'I Know Where I've Been' (from Hairspray), he'll be competing again next Friday. There's no Cork contestant, so if any GC'ers are around def turn out and give him your support. He's only deadly!

He performed in Cork after the March for Equality in Chambers, and most recently competed in Flux's singing competition. He's a huge talent, and (if he doesn't mind Cork tagging along [;-)]) is a great representation of the talent in Munster!!!

Go Fada!
