Tell me it aint' so?

DANCERS!!! People paid to dance in a pub. A gay pub. So so so wrong. So so cliche. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will there be poles and a a catwalk aswell, or is the cheesiness limited to just a bunch of young fella's who fancy themselves too much parading shamelessly, for the unsatisfied purpose of providing entertainment?
It just smacks of seediness. If there is to be dance, let there be dance, but don't pay people to dance, it just looks wrong. Always.

Hmmm I like that idea.....

I am usually one of those guys that bop away in pubs (any pub!), provided the crowd I'm with haven't chained me down or something. It would be nice to be paid to do something I would be doing anyway...

And I could collect galsses as well! Course, being the tea totaller that I am, I probably would snatch the still half full glass out of a poor punter's hand and bellow "You've had too much already!!" That would go over well no doubt!

Ahem.

Anna Pavlova.
Martha Graham.
Rudolph Nureyev.
Fred Astaire.

Or is your knowlege of dance restricted solely to Amateurs in Clubs on the Gay Scene? What a shame.

Rest assured, Timmy, that if you do not wish to watch the dancers, nobody will point your face in their direction.

Amateurs is putting it mildly. I'd say more like flailing armed exhibitionists, devoid of talent, trying anything to divert from their lack of personality.
Its so tacky like. Its not like professional dancers are going to make the place more inviting. In fact the opposite is the case. Professional dancers in straght clubs have proved to add an element of sleaze. And the same will be the case in instinct.
So cliché.
Unless they were to strip.... mmmm. [D]
(cue tirade of angry forum users totally missing the sarcasm intended in last sentence)

i mean, go to london, paris, milan, amsterdam... u have dancers all over the place... ok fiar enuf... maybe just in the big clubs, but let them try anyway... it wont do any harm!

How are dancers sleazy. Its not a lap-dancing club (if only !) Dancers are a professional addition if done right and I've seen dancers make a sometimes quiet crowd all excited and hyped up. Go dancers !

Might apply for a summer job there myself (probably glass collecting). Knowing my reputation for falling in love with people I work with it would be nice to work somewhere where's there's gay people around [)]
