Hera Bjork “Je ne sais quoi”
There was never any doubt that Hera would win in her native Iceland, she was the runner up in Denmark last year and has been a backing singer for the last 3 Icelandic songs. This will do well for them but it needs a little more "umph" in the performance I think.

The Netherlands
Sieneke “Ik ben verliefd, Shalalie“
A very controversial song in The Netherlands, as most people hated it when they first heard it with most music professionals refusing to have anything to do with it. Now that an artist has been chosen the Dutch have gone crazy in their support of it. It's currently #2 on their charts. Oh the guy who created the Smurfs theme song is responsible for this. It grows on you, it really really does.

Last weekend in the Latvian final Michael von der Heide sang the new version of Il pleut de l’or. The chorus is slightly jazzed up but otherwise the song is the same, and he is still wearing the remainders of the curtains in his grannies, which must be causing some itching as there is a lot of hopping going on.

Well Albania has gone and done it again, they revamped their song into something short of fantastic.

We are down to our final few, the last revised versions are flying out the door as well. Ukraine will hold their final (again) tomorrow night with 20 artists. France will reveal their football song as well.

The German entry is selling like hotcakes in their home country, so far it's the fastest selling song ever in Germany.
