Have been noticing the spiders in the who's online list all the time, and being able to locate gaycork threads using google. I've also noticed that the spiders index user profiles. Do we want them to be able to index user data? Not sure if I'm comfortable with this.

I'm not. Just ran some Google searches and was shocked at the results.

Most of those spiders are to do with google ads, like the ones you see below..
I can't see why the stress is over? The same happen in the old forum, in fact all fourms...
You can hide your profile or put very little in it, if you want to.

If you are trying to protect you anonymity then the internet is not the place for you.
I've been absolutely gobsmacked by the stuff I've found out about people (not gaycork people) using the internet.

Yes, it is true. Besides, anyone who gives enough personal info away in a site profile really has nothing to complain about, surely they've done it so's people will know who they are?
