Wouldn't you know!!
For a long time I have been wondering what the inside of 'the other place' was like, so on Sunday night last I plucked up the courage to venture in, all by myself I might add. To my amusement and I suppose dissapointment I couldn't understand the amount of females and the lack of males inside. It turns out that this was a womens weekend, what a night to pick

One question I have after my visit is, is this the best place to meet a partner(not much into the one night stands) or is the scene in there not the most suitable for doing so, and if not where is the best place in Cork, if any?

Heeeey Tonyx

If you're looking for a committed long-term relationship then maybe it's better to meet someone outside of a pub environment first. Try the Other Place's Film Club, or the Rainbow Ramblers hillwalking group - this site has links to loads of different things that don't involve booze - and it's easier to get to know someone that way.

The Club is not a good place to meet The One. Trust me on this :-)

Or try Personals or gaydar or something. With a little elementary common sense meeting people online is a great way to make new friends and expand your social circle.

I agree with Booty if you can find other events to attend other then the pubs or clubs to meet someone its a good idea :)

at least people with genuine multiple personality disorder don't need to seek constant attention over it.

Thanks for the advice folks, though I don't know about the imaginary partner amnesiac, even if it would definitly have it's advantages.
