Dick Cheney is one of the most powerful and influencial people if you own an oil company. His personal fortune is pretty high too. He has both power and control. So yes in fact many would want this daughter.

Do you understand the America election system and how sometimes its crucial to pick a vice president who can bring in votes from areas you would not be able to reach. In that respect Al Gore was powerful. He helped bring the democrats into power and helped balance the budget and allow america to have one of the biggest surpluses in the history of the country.
