have to agree with Capo, Slayer and Solice...it was a childish thing for anyone to do, especially a moderator on the board.

That conversaion was private between two people and unless you have express permission to post it from the two people involved, I think you should take it down ASAP.

If it was private they shouldn't have been having it in a public chatroom. The chatroom keeps logs of recent conversations for all to see anyway.

Plus capo, how can you know who either of them are? Anybody can log into the chat using a particular nickname? Still, since it bothers you I will remove it. If people want to giggle at people talking dirty to each ohter over the internet they will have to log into www.gaycork.com/chat themselves.

And remember how fragile your privacy is online. IP numbers can be traced, people recognise usernames from other sites etc... be accountable for anything you say in a PUBLIC form online!

Yes, I am a voyeur. I like to observe people. I'm often found lurking in gay chatrooms... I'm more than willing to communicate and chat with others but all I seem to meet is "ASL?/Up for a quickie?/You hard?" Whcih is why I prefer message boards and www.outeverywhere.com to the sleazy anture of the gay.com chatrooms, our own and gaydar.

Yeah I encountered the same problem joe - I just logged of the computer I was using (in college) and logged on again.

There is something seriosly wrong with the chat line!Either can't access at all or it gives 2 seconds before cutting user off. :mad:

Chat line IS accessible to-day but still poor. I viewed anther pair's whispers accidentally. Could be awkward. :mad:

However we are aware of the huge demand for it and will look into providing a better solution soon

Im new to all this but i have tried the chat rooms before a few times on friends computers but there has never being any one logged in. I taught us gay people love to chat and gossip so why is no one using it. :(
