Anyone see this program on channel 4? the first one was some of my best friends are catholics and featured dermot o'leary(well we know amnesiac saw it anyway). Think the show pretty much missed the point, if you say you're a catholic but don't agree with most of the catholic laws then you're not really a catholic, you're just a generic christian.

i say im european but to be honest i dont even know a quarter of the european laws that are used in this country.

i say im liberal but have on many an occassion been called a "facist", the last time was at a public meeting and it was the son of a former taoiseach that called me it.

i say i am catholic, i dont know all the catholic laws, i dont know the cathecism, i dont agree with many of their teachings but i still went to mass last sunday morning, i still received communion. i think a catholic is someone who believes that when they receive communion at mass, they are receiving the body of christ. i believe that.
