I'm Pyx, I'm 20 (so damn old damnit), and I'm (**shock horror**) a real live bi girly. Who is wannabe geeky and spends too much time thinking about hte scooby gang and too little time thinking about real life.
Thankee.
And, since everyone else is advertising their favourite sites, well I spend way to omuch time at www.technodyke.com. Which is (one of) the bestestest site in the whole world.

Hi, I'm nutty tart, I'm 23 and I'm a Lesbian. Am also wondering where all the young dykes were hiding when I lived in Cork??? Anyway, I play guitar a bit, like to draw when bored in the office, 'specially when there's loads to do. And...mmm...I love packing the camping gear into the car and fecking off to the beach in the summer with my babe and me little boy. There, out of breath now. Oh, and attempting to avoid paperwork is another hobby of mine.

tis true, england are years ahead of us, i mean u wouldnt exactly see, say niamh from fair city getting it on with jasmin(when she used b in it) hmmm what a site that would be -) In fairness to the writers of FC they did have a gay storyline years ago, when it was not so acceptable to show it on tv, god i can't believe i'm admitting i watch these shows in public eek!!

sphynx
30th May 2003, 03:14 PM
will you be going to loafers saturday? I have to say though cork really needs a womens disco even if its only on once a month! Why do so little women go to the other place?
amnesiac
30th May 2003, 03:22 PM
There was a "women's" night called Isdingo or soemthing but it never really took off... Other Place ain't that bad... big female crowd on sunday nights actually...
nutty tart
2nd June 2003, 12:40 AM
Well, there's a pub here called the osborne which is like the kerry equivailent of taboo meets the roundy, and that's a laugh at the weekend. We went to loafer's, taboo and then the other place, I was blown away by loafer's. Ain't it great now? it was such a dive... Also the amount of women out and about, 'specially in the club was surprising. I've not been a regular on the scene in cork for nearly 4 years and boy has it changed! Got pissed and had a laugh, then the car broke down in the middle of grand parade this morning and had to be towed which was interesting...

Wow was shocked the 'club' actually rocked the w/end,for once in its life there was a good few women, cute ones too, where do they be hiding!!
Thought was going to have a terrible time!! I dont think a monthly womens nite will work, they used to have it a few yrs ago, nobody used to turn up,there used be about 10 women in the club,i used to just hide lol...(was very shy back then!)i think a club nite say every 4 months or something like that, would be more realistic, and a lot of promotion work would be needed even then, cork women keep saying they want somewhere, but when it happens, they won't keep going?why do u think that is? Is it an age thing?think age could have something to do with it,in my opinion, the majority of lesbians in cork, well that r out, fall into the 'older' caetogry(cant spell)they must not want to go clubbing?Gay men then r totally oposite,'older' gay men r out in the bucket loads. Dont mean to sound ageist when i say this btw, lol.

lol, I'm definitely gonna make another trip to cork soon, tho I'll bet I'll never again ass the same number of women in the club! Great to see it's picked up in that respect. Where were they all hiding when I was a cute young chick on the pull? Am still a cute young chick, just not on the pull anymore! *smiles and glances in the mirror, shields face from shattering fragments of glass* Missy, did u see that thin girl, all dressed in black? Short dark hair? She was gorgeous!
Missy_Pinky
7th June 2003, 05:31 PM
lol nutty *picks glass out of yur face*! which nite was she there, can't say i remember her really, sat nite i didnt really notice anyone cos i was flying around d place, person i went with had to go so i was freaked by being on my own,sun nite was lot better,i remember some girl in black, but thought she had brown hair, she was cute, then there was this really cute girl with long hair, kinda bits of dyed red hair, she was there with 3 other girls and she was falling around the place drunk on sat nite, lol, still very cute tho!she was there both nites. There were some women in there and i was trying to figure out which way they were,my gaydar was on d blink!
nutty tart
7th June 2003, 10:36 PM
haha, I remember her! And the cute blonde who was most definitely straight, I reckon. The one I'm on about was there on saturday night, was quite thin and young looking, 18ish, and with a few others. I'm beginning to sound like a stalker! My chick's laughing at me now. *hands spanner to missy in attempt to fix gaydar*
