According to BBCi, Tim Burton is planning to film a remake of camp Christmas classic Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory next year. Based on the Roald Dahl novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the 1971 original starred Gene Wilder as the reclusive chocolate factory older but never impressed the Nowegian-English writer. It is also reported that fresh from his return to blockbusters in Pirates of the Carribean, Johnny Depp has been approached to play Wonka. This could be very interesting...
