I thought it might be fun to have a topic about drag names, what are your favourite ones, what one is yours if you have one, or one you'd like if you don't.
There's tons out there, our very own Fabula and Lady Marmalade. I think my favourite is (and Disco_Kev, you'll probably agree with me here) Tequila Mockingbird (from Robert Rodi's novel, "Drag Queen").
And let's not forget Drag Kings, as well as Drag Queens I once knew a woman who's drag name was Master Bates.

Dated a Drag Queen in Dublin - loved 'her' name ... Miss demeanour. Thought it was a great name (guy and dancer and kisser) *BLUSH*

Wasn't Master Bates the original name of Mr Rusty, the character in the Magic Roundabout...or was that just a vicious rumour from my school days?

RBJ - it seems I was getting my kids shows mixed up...

Other childrens programs also contained drug-related and seriously dodgey stuff in general. Anyone remember watching Captain Pugwash with Master Bates and Seaman Staines? Bill and Ben the Flowerpot men always talk endless streams of bollocks, especially since they made friend with 'Little Weed'.

The closest i've been to dressing up in drag is running the Womens Mini-Marathon to fundraise for the ISPCC in a nun costume! It wasn't long before the constant flow of "How-a-ya Sister?" comments started doing my head in! Fab day though!
