When people steal your biros.

When the phone doesn't stop ringing.

When you actually have to do work!

When people complain and bitch but do nothing about it.

When you're in the middle of emailing or texting a friend and the boss comes over.

5-5.30! worst time of the day.

Bureaucracy
When you don't get paid for 2 months because work decides that a change of contract should involve termination and rehire.
When 5% of your pissy little salary goes to a privately owned pension company (Like I trust the safety of that money...)
No benefits whether they be those medical whatever or whether they be something simple like coffee and biscuits.
Fuckits, complete and utter fuckwits in HR & payroll.
No Xmas bonus.
Needing to get off my bicycle and swipe in every morning and the people on Dublin Bus drive straight through.

Emails, emails and emails. If you have something to say to me or want to ask a question get up off your fat ass and walk over to me!!

My boss sends me at least 15-20 emails per day and she sits literally 5 feet away from me - bugs the hell out of me.

Also
crap pay
no bonus of any kind
bitchy back stabbers
printers that dont staple
having to use my swipe card to go everywhere (even to the toliet or canteen)
people who do fuck all and always come up smelling of roses
brown nosers
working lunchs
business trips with a REALLY low budget expense account
being put on speaker phone and having that annoying echo sound
video conference calls
pointless meetings with no agenda, goal or outcome
interviewing stupid people

i should stop now....

That its a worthless nothing of a job that I have to do for cash because i still haven't found a job that has anything to do with my qualification (sob)

Receiving tag/chain emails saying if you don't forward them on to every other person on the planet you'll have a zillion years bad luck & no sex!

Lol. If I get one asking me to send it on to 10 people, i send it back to them 10 times.

My bad-jewelleried, twinset and clown pants wearing, lego-haired cunting fuckbag of a boss.

And customers who threaten to return their orders if they arrive a whole day late ["Oh how did you survive without your scanner for a full twenty seconds"]...I'm all like "OK, I can organize that for you". Cue back-tracking on customer's behalf.

Well I have to deal with academics who will neither lead nor drive and who spew such drivel and thrash one would never think these people were educated.

I used to be nice and take their points onboard, now I just tell them to shut up, sit down and do as I say! They are all alot happier as a result and my life is easier.....I love team work..... [:-D]

ROFL!

I personally love my job,

It pays well
Im good at it
I get to be creative
I get to shout at the MD
I get to slam as many doors as i can
The petty cash gets hit for lunch
If I dont feel like doing it i refuse
If somone annoys me I tell them to f*ck off
I get to post on Gay Cork all day
I get to smoke when i want to
The accountant is a laugh - she has been known to bring her dog to work
If i need to do anything personal - like go and buy a bday presant - theres never a problem

I do love my job. Its a laugh! :)

I do hate when it gets mental busy and the equipment or computers dont realise that is really busy and decide not to work.

But thats about it.

:)

I moved from Dublin to Cork when I got this offer in February. (I'm half irish mum from wx dad was german and I was born brought up in CH where my parents met - than we moved back to wx - so I've been in Ireland since nearly 9yrs now).

don't get me wrong travelling is cool - but unbelievably tiring a killer when one get's back going is ok. Cork has no direct flights yet to CH so it's all via Dublin or Amsterdam. Takes a hole day just for one way unreal waist of time.

What did I hate about all my jobs so far?

Hmm.

1. Stress. Call Centres can be horribly stressful places to be in, and that's just the nature of the work.

2. Other People's Feelings/"Teamwork". Why the fuck should I care?? And who the hell are you, anyway?

3. Middle Management. Either give me the Boss or fuck off, you poxy Secretary, I did not sign on to be in Playschool. And go dump that Muinteoir-face, you lumpy slag.

4. Electronic Communication. Because why wouldn't that e-mail needs three more forwards in case I didn't get it the first and second time it was sent to me?

5. Schedules. It's not a very good idea to put me on first thing in the morning, I'm more of a warm-in-the-late-evening sort of person.

6. Deadlines. It's going to take as long as it takes, you filthy whore.

7. Free coffee. Wheeeeee Pop!

I prefer having a new friend in life before deciding to go for a one night stand. Been there done it no thanks anymore.

Things I hate about work...

- Drunk knacker boys
- Running out of vodka/redbull when there are drunk knacker boys (you'd think 5 boxes of redbull in a small pub would be loads for a night!)

I think my ideal job would be one where I could be paid for sleeping.

hate being called 'the intern' because i'm one of the younger people in the office. if i was an intern, i'd be making a lot less, and doing a lot less work! jerks.

hate the coworkers whose lives are a mess, and feel the need to sit next to you and describe their divorce, their poor health, their PARENTS' poor health, and their total lack of a sex life (if you lost 200lbs, maybe THEN you'd get a date)

@Mabbit: you DO have the dream job. you remember, i love me some knackers :)

Ok what would be your ideal job?

Left my previous job as it was an awful festering hellhole of depravity and boredom. That and the pay sucked and I somehow managed to get all the work dumped on me. So unemployed for a while and bored off my tree, I went into business with my friend and now I own my own comic store [:-))] [:-))]
I love being able to order what I want (last place went to hell in the end), plus i have the added incentive of all those free samples. 'Please buy our product, look at it its lovely. Have 7!!!'
