Hi How is everybody, I can't understand why nobody else has thought of this idea to spice up GC.Com So how are you? I'm ok, going to bed as soon as this is written. Didn't do much today, had really nice conversation with karma, lil pxy can't wait to see you. Arggggg I'm back to college Monday ah but never fear, Fever is Sunday, yes big wheels will turn and wallet chains will be shined up, ah I see it now, the homosexuals rise again, by the way I think FEVER should be in club one. Oh I just got a text report, a message was delivered to my friend Mike, my flirting partner, oh the stories, he tried to kill me as did velma, arg I still get the nightmares.

seriously no calories if eaten with friends, that goes for chocolate and alchohol too, also if any of the above are consumed while watching a favoured television show they actually constitute negative calories. Little known fact that

see the thing about getting a tv, you have to get a tv licence, and the thing about a tv licence is that you only need one per household, it does matter about how many tvs you have. i think thats unfair. there are families with one tv and no choice and they are paying the same amount for the pleasure of watching feck all as the families with multiple tvs and watching many more things. but that is me just ranting

I subscribe to Chorus but can find very little must see TV lately. Where are all the great British dramas gone? To be honest my viewing basically consists of watching Survivor and Six Feet Under religously, tune in to RISE or Breakfast in the mornings and tune into Graham Norton for some post-reading trash at night. There are the odd interesting documentaries on BBC and Channel 4 but the Factual Channels such as Discovery and History are quite poor.

So what am I missign out on? What is everybody's five favourite TV programmes at present? Mine are...

5 The Blizzard of Odd Network 2 Mondays at 10.40pm
4 Pop Idol ITV1 Saturdays at 7.00pm and 9.00pm
3 Newsnight BBC TWO Mon-Fri 10.35pm
2 SurvivorPearl Islands TG4 Thursdays at 10.30pm
1 Six Feet Under e4 Thursdays at 10pm

No mention of it here.... http//www.oasis.gov.ie/public_utilities/telecommunications/tv_licences.html?search=television+license

As far as i know, if you don't have a TV in your house, you have to pay a radio license... it's around €30 i think...The TV license is €150p.a. at the moment but RTE are requesting yet another increase.

I'd be all for an increase, if they spent the money properly instead of pissing it away on poor staff structures. RTE is grossly overstaffed and mis-managed in it's current state!

Speaking about ads....who remembers those mad "public service" ads from RTE years back.

Like the one about the fire-proof nite-dress for girls "...it sounds like a robots name but sure if it stops them going up in flames what do I care"

And the one where grandad keeled over into the river!

And the kid in the paddling pool.

Bob Geldof telling us that "phone wreckers were idiots"

And Judge from Wanderly Wagon teaching us the Safe Cross Code
Remember
1. Look for a safe place
2. Don't hurry, stop and wait
3. Look around you before you cross the road
4. Let all the traffic past you
5. then walking straight across
you 6. Keep watching
That's the safe cross code

Money will do me, thanks everyone.

Half way though my own Christmas shopping. And I know what I want to get everyone so that's half the battle.

By the way, if anyone saw a frantic fella running around Cork airport on Tuesday afternoon with a roll of wrapping paper and a scissors, don't fret, that was me!

Me mum and bro were flying out to Ozzie that day and I had to give them their presents before they left. Got the pressies nice and early but left wrapping them to the last minute - literally! I could be found on Tuesday in the airport resturant tape and wrapping paper flying all round me like that scene from Edward Scissorhands. I even cut the dumb blonde twat that was dancing beside me as I furiously wrapped!

However all finished and they were none the wiser, even though I was not 50 yards from them.
