Many people have tales of seeing something, whether they believe in ghosts/spirits/etc.?
Does anyone have any interesting tales, did you ever have a supernatural experience of any kind?

this is weird, cause i dont believe in ghosts or the supernatural per say.
I rented a house for about 6 months two years ago. it was a new house, that was built on a derilict site in a village in North Cork.
While there i would regularly hear the sound of a child running and laughing in the hallway outside my bedroom...nothing scary!
I was talking to one of the locals (in the local pub) the night of a power cut. He mentioned to me (without me prompting him) that the previous family, from years ago, that had lived in the house on the same site had lost both their children to T.B.
Two other occurances that happened in that house included my duvet being fixed back over the bed when i got back into the room out of the shower. Also, when i would drive away from the house, the radio used to turn itself up and down.
I have never experienced anything similar to this before or since that house!

gah, that sounds creepy.
My great grandmother's house was haunted.
Anyone who slept in one of the bedrooms would get dragged out of the bed by some un seen force.
Turned out a man had hanged himself in the bedroom about half a century before. They had to get a priest up to bless the house.

I was in a friend's house once, and it was only him living there, no one else, and I was convinced I saw an old woman passing through the upstairs hallway followed by three or four cats. I was stoned, but still ... it creeped me out. There was definitely no one else in the house! My younger brother has seen lots of things, I'll tell them in next post (rushing to work now!).

Well, if you were stoned I'd say there's a fair chance that you were seeing things!!

Strange feelings in a number of places, but three specifics, which I'll summarise. First, clearly saw a ghost walking around a house, from a distance, through the windows (lights on, curtains open); nobody in the house (checked straightaway) and no possibility of there being anybody. Was with someone else, and we saw it (him?) together. Found out alfterwards that the same part of this house had a history of a presence, but didn't know at the time. Second, experienced contemporaneous sight of dangerous events happening in another room at home, and confirmed to others present what I was seeing before we had evidence of those events going on in the other room. Third, 'saw' someone falling down the stairs in front of me three hours before that person fell down those stairs. These things are rare (with me) but very clear when they do happen. I don't get false alarms!
And, of course the usual 'coincidences' also - send an email to someone the very moment when they are texting you (yesterday); think of someone and they within seconds they phone (often); decide at home to look up an (unknown to me and therefore obscure) poem part quoted by someone during the day, open an anthology on the bedisde completely at random and there it is in front of me (some time ago); and meet an author thousands of miles away, then later see a book of hers in a bookshop, open it at random and read immediately the only reference in the book to the city in which I have just met her (a couple of months ago). But these things are much more common.

My brother is 17 and he's seen two things, once when he was 5 and once at 9. He's never been a super-imaginative kid (don't mean that in a bad way) and he's probably the most honest person I know, so I believe him fully. When he was 5, he saw a strange man sitting in a chair in our living room, and he can describe him even to this day very specifically - boiler suit, dark hair, ... it's creepy. He also saw my late grandmother, and saw her surrounded in or dressed in gold - an aura maybe?
