Christ what has the world come to nowadays

Can't believe somebody could actually do something like this. And the fact that there are other sick people out there that actually support it. As many of ye know im not a cat lover, hissy little fuckers but this is not humane....

A site that we were able to shut last year has returned. A man in New York breeds and sells kittens that are called BONSAI CATS. That would sound cute, if it wasn't kittens, days old, that were squeezed into tiny bottles after being given a tranquilizer and then stay there, for the rest of their lives, so that they can be put on a mantlepeice and be poked and laughed at.

The cats are fed through a straw and their faces struggle to reach up the neck of the bottle where there is a tiny airhole. They are treated like absolute sh*t. The skeleton of the kitten will take on the form of the bottle as the kitten grows.

The cats never get the opportunity to move apart from the first few days they are alive with their mother. These 'ornaments' are sold cheaply and used as souvenirs. They are the latest trends in New York, China, Indonesia and New Zealand.

One of my favourite lines from the website (http://www.bonsaikitten.com/bkmethod.html) is At only a few weeks of age, a kitten's bones have not yet hardened and become osseous. They are extremely soft and springy. In fact, if you take a week-old kitten and throw it to the floor, it will actually bounce! We do not recommend that you try this at home. The kitten may bounce under the furniture and be difficult to retrieve, as well as covered in unsightly household dust.

Christ sake like, who raised these people!! Love to stick them in a bottle and see how it feels like for them, grrr argh [X-(]

Incidentally, have you heard about the zoo in Thailand with a restaurant where they are offering meat from some of the animals such as lions and giraffes as a delicacy. [8-X]

I actually read about that in the paper this morning but i am wondering if this is also a hoax??? surely that can't be legal.
