I'm planning on heading out this weekend with about six of my straight female friends..the have suggested that since they are heading out without their boyfriends that they want to do something different..So the have called it Gay Night.. I brought one of my friends in there a few weeks ago and she really liked it so much so that she was the driving force behind Gay Night..She didn't believe that all the guys in there were gay and kept guessing who was straight.. She was usually proved wrong when guys she suspected eventually were out!! On the dance floor Scoring..
I know I have read before that people have a better chance of bumping into their sister’s friends than bumping into Mr. Right!!

All I can say is sorry but it won’t be a common occurrence

Huh?? A bit confused by your thread. Is it that you're friends were surprised by the amount of men in there that they thought were straight??

no she just thought there waste a lot of "ohh your such a waste" there..
My question was peoples opinion on bringing in straight girls? the vast majority of girls in there are straight i'd say anyhow!!

I find this utterly annoying. I'm sure it's just me. The last thing instinct needs is a gang of females acting incredulous at the amount of handsome gays. I'm all for integration, however I don't like the thought of being treated as a subject of anyone else's amusement just cos I'm gay.
I'm having difficulty forming words around how annoying this is. I shall return to this later.

The fact that your friends said that the gay men were a waste pisses me off.
Why are we a waste? Cause we are not straight and all over them is it?
It's stupid shit like this that just makes people constantly complain about certain straight people in gay bars.

The only reason she said waste was because she fancied them and ya wanted them to “jump Her" but as I say to her one girls waste is another mans treasure..
But it’s not such a case of amusement that the girls want to go their but more of a case that the music is good and there is a general good vibe about the place... Normally when we head out I end up going their with my partner and they go to some place called Havana’s or something which they say is a meet market so as they are going out with out their partners the do not want to be pestered by guys all night long but instead have fun and dance..
They definitely are not going there to point… dragged one to the other place with me once but that didn’t prove to be as popular…

No it isn't! There's a reason Wans are called Wans, you know. Most of us don't particularly care to be the object of hetbitches' fascinations because of our sexuality.

I've no problem with them going if they're just there to enjoy the night with their friends. But I do have a problem with them going there and staring at people and trying to guess who is gay and who is straight.
The fact that you say they were surprised to see who was gay leads me to believe that they were staring enough to notice when they scored. I'm sure that once one of them saw one of the guys, that they had been watching earlier, scoring with another guy, they turned to their friends and said something to the rest of the gang and pointed it out.
I agree with LittleTimmy when he says this annoys him. We should be able to enjoy our night without being made a spectacle of.

I wouldn't say "Pointing & staring" as I personally wouldn’t like that either. It was more shame on them gays they are going straight to hell!!!
(Only Kidding)
My friends are quite open minded, the only reason that they want to go is because the have heard from other gay people they know that “it’s a good night out” (like the saying they have for the dog track).
So at the end of the day it’s all just for fun and I’m sure if they see Martin Murphy from up the road at No. 7 getting it on with another guy they are not going to “Out “him. They will be too busy dancing anyhow.

I don't mind straight girls who go to instinct (well as long as they leave me alone and don't try and be my best friend just because I like men), what I mind are the straight men who come in purely to make fun of everyone. The ones who stare at you when you do anything or yell to their buddies when you kiss someone. Thank god its a rare thing. Though I don't like those fine straight guys who come with their girlfriends but that's purely because they're so good looking I want one [:'']

like I seem to have to say a million times a day, if you have a problem in instinct with anyone, straight or gay, harassing you, tell a bouncer(or any member of staff) and it will be taken care of.

Was in last night, had a great time, as did my straight friends, they even got to try out the pole, only for a few minutes though, that thing is like a magnet for drunk dancers.
And not one finger was pointed!! Just a fun time had by all
