I heard that they are going to get a lot of the original staff back to serve drink for the weekend.... I heard romours about exhumation orders being issued by the District Court to accomodate the idea .... seriously 'tho it should be a fantastic weekend. Congrats Hoggy, enjoy your 20th ! Seeing as Loafers is my all-time favourite pub, I'll be there. I got a little card from Hoggy inviting me to the party between 7.30pm and 9pm. Does this involve free cake and alcohol, me wonders?!

Well I'll be there on Friday night, I'll be the one bopping along to god knows what tunes getting high on all the ballygowan my body can handle!!

Won't be there Sat night tho -( Off to dub for Sat night, sunday morning, but may pop in on Sunday night, depending on how I get on in this god forsaken run!!

Was in Loafers for the first time in ages a few weeks ago and really enjoyed myself. It's great to go somewhere where you can sit down, chat and have a laugh. I wasn't there in months and i know it was refurbished a good while ago i thought it looked great. I'll have to pop in. Anything exciting planned?

UCC LGB had their first meeting last night and over 60 people showed up! Must ahve been Loafer's busiest weekday night since Pride. Great night though, lots of really sound new ppl and old faces return! Pretty good mix of guys and gals too.

Loafers be lovely. They actually have indoor toilets. Loafers just is your basic average local pub where everyone knows everyone, except that everyone's either queer or my parents.

Damn, I wanted to tune in last night for the cellybrations. But Fame Academy - The Final and an e4 Sex and The City Marathon distracted me. Is there anything planned for tonight?

As far as I know the party goes on over the whole weekend, not sure exactly what is on 2nite but the rumour has it that Hoggie arranged for the gay kiss scene in Corrie to coincide with the celebrations. I think there may a Barbie on 2nite... could be fun

I'm really regretting not getting out of bed and making the effort to go down last night, as by all accounts, it was a great night, and I had an invitation and all to the earlier free-drinks thing ... And loads of people I know from GC and other non-GC friends of mine was there ... Damn! And it's my favourite pub. Double Damn! Ah well ... what can you do.

You missed a great nite on Saturday, and they put on a free BBQ with Champers on Sunday just in time to sustain us all for Corrie. All credit to the guys they really did spend a lot of dosh on the weekend what with the free bar on Saturday, the cost of having Red FM in ( yea they do charge ) and the free sustenance on Sunday. Brilliant weekend !
