The lack of bins on Patrick's St is RUBBISH, pun intended! All the laws about dropping fag butts and also litter and there's hardly any bins, its ridiciclous.

So what do you think?

totally agree, this is a pet peeve of mine, when they're giving out constantly about litter and there are no bins anywhere, and the ones you do find are overflowing.

It also pisses me off that there are no public toilets, and yet they complain about people pissing on the street. "We can't have public toilets, they attract fags". Even if they had toilets that were open during the daytime...

Yeah I noticed that the other day when I was trying to throw away an empty can of coke. Couldn't find a bin anywhere.

I agree, particularly when it comes to cigarette butts. There should definitely be more bins!

Hmm I think you all must have psychic abilities! Just noticed one on Patrick Street as I was walking up by River Island (so hold onto your coke cans until you get that far!) Only reason I noticed it is because it's a chrome metal affair that is totally ruined by the cheap black bin bag poking out around the edges!! (I did a design course for public bins, don't you know)

Anyways about these psychic abilities, do any of you wish to pick six numbers between 1 and 42?? -)

i think when patrick st is finished there will be a lot more bins. They've just put new ones in north and south main street. I think that no matter how many bins u have ignorant people will always throw rubbish on the ground!

that's true, but people are generally more reserved about throwing rubbish on a clean street than a dirty one

I wonder can you do a FOI request on the Corpo ? I'd love to know the cost of cleaning up the city. The put up posters on the bins saying how much it costs when someone doesn't use the bin and remind them its their tax money thats being spent.
