Yeah so I went shopping today, and after several long hours of window shopping id decided on my purchases and whereto get them, yes im that type of shopper. Hmmmm maybe thats why my friends vanish when I mention shopping. But anyway I had bought my things a nice top some cosmetics, food (damn food taking up all my valuble clothes money) and was wlaking home when I saw an identicle top for half what I paid, a better cosmetic for a third of the price i paid and that dunnes had my fav kievs on special.

So what I want to know is why the great conspiracy against careul shoppers, do the god damned shop keepers run ahaed of you after u've bought something and tell their associates to drop their prices? What a nut job, and not a nice slurpy one either.

Don't look at the prices and you need never get upset. What pisses me off is when I buy a top and wear it out and some other guy is wearing the same top. I actually won't wear the top again most of the time. I feel my lovely possession has been soiled by this other person.

Oh the Joys of shopping in London (Camden to be precise) no-one in cork would ever wear the stuff so never have that problem Damien ! So my advise invest in a flight to Stansted and a bus ticket to The City and all that can be avoided!

Ah, I've only ever shopped in Soho and Oxford Street. Never made it to Camden. I think I might just do that. Nice to see you around again Cyberdog !

second hand shopping is a gud way of getting a unique look, as quite often ull find unique pieces and they are almost never very expensive

i dispise shopping more than anything in the world. when i walk into a clothes shop i begin to sweat. the further i move toward the bowls of the store and away from the door the worse it gets.

first i lose all feeling in my fingers and it slowly spreads through my arms. then it starts on the toes and up the legs. within 5 minutes i am a sobbing mess on the floor. i take the foetul position and begin to rock back and forth calling for the king of the apes to come and roll me out of the store

And while he distracts the security guards and staff with that show his family nicks everything in sight. Its a good technique. Its a known fact that your family is in the crime business.

Do you take orders ? See theres this lvoely Prada Top I've seen in Brown Thomas ....

em okay. I like shopping, but I hate when the shop assistant keeps staring at you, coming over "do you need help with anything", you say "no just browsing", they go back to their original position of staring at you.

Plain clothes store detectives are annoying as well. You know that other browser in the store, who just happens to like the clothes straight across from the ones you're looking at, all the time.

Maybe I just look dodgy [)]

i got followed by the uniformed store detective in Boots on Saturday morning...that annoying kind of following where he was pretenting not too, but doing it badly...he annoyed me so much that i turned the tables on him....picked up lots of products from the shelves and followed him around the shop for about ten minutes. he didnt seem to like that very much!

i worked in a super market all summer (yes mary the pop corn is on aisle 4 next to the sugar) and the amount of people that we had problems with. everyday there would be someone coming in trying to steal things from right under your nose and they would be really bad and obvious at it too.

best day at work was having to follow this couple around and keep an eye on them

worst day was having to clean the butchers, i had to sweep up eyes from the floor. of course the most perturbing thing was, i could only find three. now unless that pig had one eye, there is still one rolling around

roches popcorn? glossary, somebody?

i think i read somewhere that shopping is very stressful for a lot of men. they don't have the "gatherer" instinct, and find all the people and shelves in close confinement claustrophobic!

can't say i'm one of them, though!
