I'm just a web usability fascist.

I was going to make a list for you but I'd only break your heart(its a pastime of mine according to some).

There were at least 20 things in the list of why the site sucks. [)] but I find fault with all websites.

I sense Bitter Mary has landed...

What are you talking about Damien? The site is really easy to use! Take your heartbreaking lists and do something constructive with them.

Everything I would have listed would come with a constructive suggestion. Its not worth knocking something unless you can come up with a better alternative/solution in my opinion.

My daily work involves taking electronic data and information and making sure its displayed and presented in the most usable and accessible way while maintaining quality and integrity. I'll give better feedback when my employer is paying me to "work" [)]

I like it! Very fresh and have to admit that I didn't find it that hard to use either.

Maybe the people that designed this website can show MY company a thing or two about webdesign!

Two thumbs up here.

Well it's a definite improvement on the old site.
Vorsprung durch Technik as Mary most definitely wouldn't say.

Ok. I'm retracting my previous statement but would like to offer the following constructive tips to aid in improving the site so its even better, these are a bit techy oriented though.

1)Use the XHTML Standard for creating Markup

2)Provide alternative text for all images for those with poor eyesight.

3)The navigation on the top should have the links highlighted in some way to make it obvious they are links as opposed to text. Text and links have the same font and colourings so without moving your mouse over each bit of text in the top of the page you don't know what is a link and what is just text.

4) Use descriptions in tables so that anyone with a screenreader will know what is contained in the table and know if its a structural or data table.

5) Use relative sizing and positioning (% values) rather than absolute (pixels)

6) Add a descriptive title to links when needed.

7) Create a text sitemap for people to use (this is also handy for search engines)

8) Create keywords in the meta-tags of the page. Although search engines such as Google are moving away from these they are still taken into account with screenreaders and the 100s of other searh engines out there.

9) Increase the constrast between the background and the text in some images so the text is easier to read.

10) Identify the language of the text in the markup.

11) Be more descriptive with the Title of pages.

12) Do not use popups to notify a user that a page is under construction.

Actaully the queens seem to be leaving Taboo en masse and heading across the river to Loafers these days. There is a funny crowd in Taboo these days... QUEER in the Enid Blyton sense of the word...

Oh jock make sure to vote in my Fave gay bar poll!

There are usually as many women as men in Loafers... whcih is unusual for a gay bar in Irleand and is a good thing.
Now jock... why all this nastiness and venom directed at the Cork Queens? Did you catch the claop form one of them in the cubicles... again?

Because a large proportion of people who use online sites like gaydar tend to have lots of issues reagrding their own sexual identity and internalised homophobia? Or if you'd believe the other inflammatory poster here (Eminem) it's due to somebody anally raping them in their youth.

YAAAAAWN, Jock's back... leave it out, sweetheart, we've heard it all before from far more literate posters than you. Bitter because you're too old now to be wanted by the Youth & Beauty set? Aw, bless. Why don't you take a flat on Sesame Street and shack up with a nice married Narnian, that way you'll have all the NSA SA fun you seem to be so desirous of.
