Ha Ha its like the fella who sells Hanley scratchcards and TWICE I bought one just because he wouldn't let me be but eventually it became a nuiscance as I work in town therefore always see him so I'll be honest I told him F*ck off eventually as he kept at me one day slagging me saying c'mon its only 3 euro and that really pissed me off cos people were listening to him tell me ah don't be cheap now so I said (and I quote)"I don't go to work to give you my money every second fuckin day! DON'T piss me off"[X-(]

OR the time this concern girl would not let go that I was a student(at the time) and I simply cannot afford/didn't want to afford to DD money each month , the cheeky bitch decided to point out that I could afford the designer clothes and the iPod I was listening to. I politely refused again and walked away only to have her follow me saying please could she have my details and I could think about it, I casually turned around and loudly asked her: "Are you this clingy in a relationship? Because so help your partner if you are, STOP FOLLOWING ME!!"

Hahaha I love it! In fairness the asthma people are in town EVERY Saturday - they must have discovered a cure at this stage!!!

Yeah isn't some kind of rule that they are actually not supposed to shake the tin violently at you and chase you down the road for money? Or is that just basic manners people happily go without these days?!

gregshome

Well one day actually she was shaking the tin so much i stopped and gave ger a look and she actually had the guts to say Help asthma please-causing me to burst out laughing and then i walked on. But shes everywhere. She was at the entrance to Marks and Spencer a few minutes ago when i was on lunch and i saw her this morning outside tesco.

I've given so much money to 'Help Asthma Please' in the past. I have chronic asthma & never seen any of it back, so it must be as crap as one of those June Whitfield insurance policies for the over 50's. I didn't even get a fake gold pen or subscription to Tenna Lady.

Thats pretty much how i feel about hugging in general.

those Hanley centre/asthma people really annoy me too but i just pretend i don't hear them. I know they're just doing a job but as louislestat said i'm also pretty sure its not voluntary so don't think we should feel the need to be nice to them!
