I was never a person who went to the Other Place cafe much, but I was just wondering, to those that would frequent it during the day as a gay coffeehouse, where do you go now? Bodega? Taboo? Quay Co-op?
Are gay cafes a thing of the past, me-wonders...?
What I really miss about the Other Place, is their book selection. While a lot of it was over-run by Erotic fiction, it was a really good section. I'm trying to set up a Gay & Lesbian section, as you all know, in the bookstore I work in, and it's hard going!
Does anyone know what happened the books in there? Were they sold? Are they still in storage, are they available to buy, any of them? Or were they all returned to the publishers? Anyone know?
