Ive noticed in taboo recently that there's nearly always a new face serving behind the bar... whats the story? is it hard work or something? is the pay awful? someone i know went for a job there b4 and was told 'ur too str8 looking!' what was that about?

LOL Yes, and did you hear the ones about the drug-dealing and porn movies that Taboo is involved in, too??

That bar has had more stupid rumours surrounding it since it opened than Jordan's knicker drawer. I doubt very much that aanyone was refused for being too straight-looking. Sure the owners are straight and so is one of the managers.

ya ur right... the same guy was the biggest liar ever... u should have heard what he was saying about me to his friends... and then i was wondering why i was getting these funny looks from people! god knows whats going round about me! if i ever see him again hes dead!

I worked in Taboo for a few months and it was quite enjoyable. Nice place to work, staff are looked after well and the pay is better than most bars in the city.

ya...id say its ok to work there... guess ppl just move on... i dont think i could ever work there though... 1-i already have a jo and 2-it would just feel wierd working and socialising in the same pub...and everyone would know who u are...id prefer to be just an anonymous face and choose who i talk to, instead of being behind the bar and having to be nice to everyone

I'd imagine being sober and trying to be nice all night to drunk people screaming at you over the noise of the music would be pretty hard.

hmm, possibly. do you really think the stay sober? have found the staff there to be polit and good at their jobs, tho they dont suffer fools galdly
