Hey anyone been going to fever on thursday nights in the white rooms? I have to say i'm impressed especially after going to the other place the past few months. I find it's got a cool chilled atmosphere, not too cruisy and you don't mind bringing your straight friends to it which is always a plus point.

Crowded yes, but the bouncers are NOT gay friendly, so please be careful.
Too many people have made comments on this, so much so it can't be ignored anymore...

This happened once at the george up in Dublin where the bouncers were actually just newly brought in and incredibly homophobic. They were complained about to management and it was innediately sorted out. Maybe something similar should happen here?

depends on who happens to be working on the night, but most of the time, yes, I've found them to be quite polite.

I must say I've never had a bad experience with the bouncers in The Bodega. Admin are you speaking from personal experience or hear'say? I've never heard ANYBODY have anything bad to say about the security staff there!

The security staff that the Mardyke employed for the UCC Tramp's Ball were absolutely atrocious. Rude, heavy-handed and quite unable to deal with the event in question.

The normal bouncers at the mardyke/bodega are very friendly though.
Redz bouncers and Qube bouncers are absolute pricks, don't know why anyone gives them their business.

Went to Fever on Thursday night last for the first time since it left the Savoy (dark old days!)
Was verily impressed! DJ Broz seems to have modernised his choice in music a good bit but still throws in the odd classic for variety.
Shall be returning. And found the bouncers grand that night.
