It's Captain America that has me asking the question. Chris Evans....I don't think he can pull off the Paragon of Virtue that is the mainstream Steve Rogers' Captain America. And I wouldn't want to watch anything about the Ultimate version.
He could probably do a good Winter Soldier Captain America, or even USAgent.......

So......thoughts?

Warner Bros. is allegedly seeking a creative entity to become the program's showrunner, but the article notes that Supernatural creator Eric Kripke may be at the top of the studio's list.

Sandman, which launched DC Comic's Vertigo imprint, ran for 75 issues beginning in 1989. Gaiman's worlds-within-worlds weaved an episodic antholgy, focusing on the allegorical character of Dream and his brothers and sisters, known as the Endless (Death, Desire, Despair, Delirium, Destruction and Destiny).

An adaptation of the series has been rumored since its inception two decades ago, most recently as a spinoff film for Dream's sister, Death, which Gaiman had plans to write and direct himself. It is unclear whether or not this proposed series would conflict with that project if it is, indeed, still moving forward.

Despite what my profile might say about when I joined, I just kinda signed up then and promptly forgot about it.

But a pal spoke highly of it, explained how to make it work, and practically ordered me to pick it up.

So here I am.

I've the same username on a few sites, so yeah, it's all me.
I've been going out to Ruby's and Chambers for almost three years now. End of Nov is that milestone. Have to say I love them both to bits.
As to how ya can pick me out from the crowd...
...that'd be telling!

I'm 26 and from County Cork. That's right, a country lad (who has JUST moved into Cork city for the first time after having been up the country for a few years). Can get kinda hyper, and all the energy tends to pour into a thing at a time...look at the length of this post if ya don't believe me. Longwinded much? That energy focused can be like the Eye of Sauron...can be scary when it focuses on you! Only kidding.

Despite being out and about with a few years, I know very few people that I can say hi to on nights out......and me blathering here is to help remedy that.

Part of it has been chumming around with the small group of pals I made first when I going out. Insular like. And another is that I'm a bit shy. Find it hard to say hello. Once that's out of the way though, I've no bother keeping a conversation going!....hard to chat in a club or a pub, but outside after, or before for that matter, is a different story. I'm terrible remembering names with faces tho, so be patient.

Major sweettooth, and usually have lollipops somewhere nearby on a night out. Gave the Chambers Xtra-Factor competition a few goes....more than I should have....but I wasn't really doing it to win, I was just trying to get back a bit of confidence in myself. And it mostly worked. I might not be able to sing as well as I used to at ALL, but the kind of songs I do well are too slow and sad or sweet for me to be bringing the mood down in Chambers. Wherever You Will Go was the first one I did, and the one I did best. Acting's more my thing anyway.
Poor Daisy.........I must have driven ya demented. Dermot too. Thanks for putting up with me.

And for the guys, I'm REALLY dense with reading signals, so if you're broadcasting any, please use subtitles. I've no bother with the verbal tapdance, but I probably won't be the one to break first. And if you're staring at me from across the room (or waving at me... or mooning me for that matter) then I probably won't react. Cos I can't see it. Cos I'm v blind at night.

If you've read this far, then congratulations. You just won marks!
They are nontransferable, and cannot be cashed in as they are just a way of keeping score.

I know there's more to life than the nights out and all, and the only reason I've gone on so much about them is that they're where you're most likely to catch me in real life. Cos being online pals only goes so far.

Anyone into films, Marvel comics, Star Trek, Star Wars, Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series, tv (almost anything on that: House, DH, Smallville, QI......), RPGs (D&D), Final Fantasy 7,8, and 12..........I can talk about any of 'em. And almost everything else except for sports and cars. It's not that I don't like them. I just have NO memory for them.

There. I've pretty much outlined my operator's manual for ye....totally gonna regret this.
Hopefully this is the longest thing I'll ever post on here.

So feel free to say hi, even if it's just on here.

Oh, and the user name is cos of the ancient Greek water god....not the shower. And as for Rogue.....there's a reason I picked her image. But that'll come later.

In writing this I am very new to here and to the scene, yet I am also concious that there may not be any sort of support or social groups in the smaller towns of Cork.

I am just curious if there would be mush interest in trying to organise a social support group for LGBT people in Midleton, Cobh areas?? I do realise that many people might want to remain private, but I do know, it would have been a huge assist to me if there was such a group.

Suicide rates in many developing countries have been steadily rising in recent years.

Suicide Prevention across the World

On World Suicide Prevention Day, September 10, 2010, the theme "Many Faces, Many Places: Suicide Prevention across the World" offers us a broad perspective for suicide prevention. There are significant differences in the profiles and circumstances of suicidal individuals in different parts of the world. At the same time, it is clear that the experience of connectedness is important in the mental health of all people.

It is often asked, how can we best connect with each other in a world that appears so disconnected? We strongly believe that if our communities work towards being better connected, through sharing information, expertise and time, we can do a great deal to help those who are in need, desperate, and vulnerable to suicide.

We believe that through a combined effort at an international and local level, a difference to the lives of many will be made.
