The first issue or two of preacher is free on the dc app I'm sure and the darkness has free issues on the image app. If you are looking for classic marvel stories try The Age of Apocalypse.

Definitely deadpool I'd say, loving his stuff at the moment. If you want something slightly different try a series called Preacher. Well worth it but it's not marvel. Same with The Darkness. It's by a company called Image, it has more of an edge bit more gritty. You say you have an iPad? There are comic apps from marvel, dc and image. There is a section in each for free comics that you can download. That will expose you to a wide variety of titles.

I love deadpool, he is my new favourite character, really funny. He had a run of comics with cable that you should check out, you can download them off a torrent. Cable and Deadpool they are called
