Corey Haim Dies
Canadian actor Corey Haim, known best for his role in the 1987 hit "The Lost Boys" has died, Los Angeles police confirmed Wednesday. Officials said his death appears to have been accidental. Celebrity news Web site TMZ reports that, according to police sources, he died of an apparent overdose. The 38-year-old actor had reportedly been struggling with drug addiction.

The Lost Boys is a classic alright, i loved that movie. It's sad to hear that he died from an overdose. He had been struggling with addiction most of his life. He was the next big thing in Hollywood in the '80s but drugs fucked his career up, it's sad

just read this a while ago.very sad news,he was great in THE LOST BOYS and it's one of the great films from the 80's.not forgetting that he was in the Stephen King adaptation SILVER BULLET as well which scared the shit out of me when i was a kid.

I'm remember seeing it at a friends birthday party - they used run the local shop-cum-videostore-cum everything. I was terrified!!
Now his name is only familiar with me after the Thrills song.
