ucc art student killed on south link last night

The young man, who was from Co Kerry, was killed when he was hit by two cars while walking along the Bloomfield Interchange on the South Link Road shortly after midnight.

Radio said his name was adam (didn't catch his surname) he is an art student from tralee, poor lad, prob left early from the thing at the Rochestown Park Hotel,

my ma always says no matter what happens on a night out never walk away from your friends,

Gardaí name student killed in Cork crash

The UCC student who was killed in a crash in Cork last night has been named locally.

21-year-old Adam Buggy from Tralee in Co. Kerry died after being knocked down on the South Ring Road in Douglas just after midnight.

He had been studying Arts at UCC and had earlier been attending a ball at the nearby Rochestown Park Hotel.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them at Douglas garda station.

God thats just sad. I dont know why he was walking on the link but my thoughts are with his loved ones

Terribly sad. My dad was one of the witnesses to it. He was driving into town last night, and as he passed the Rochestown Park, someone wandered onto the road from the bushes after he passed, waving his arms. It seems that the car right behind my dad's one hit him. Terribly sad. =(
