I'm thrilled Sandra Bullock won, I think she is a great actress and so beautiful. Love the fact that she is so good to charity also. Everyone who has ever worked with her seems to love her and say great things about her
Best song should have gone to 'Almost there' from 'The Princess and the Frog' though :(

  2. Shiva is a volcano of glitter!

    Yay for Star Trek :)
  3. existo solvo is not the Messiah,he's a very naughty boy.

I'm delighted that Kathryn Bigelow won, she's a great director having directed films such as NEAR DARK,POINT BREAK and STRANGE DAYS.If i'm not mistaken she's the first woman to ever win the Best Director Oscar.I definitely must check out THE HURT LOCKER ,it's supposed to be an outstanding film.Nice to see Bullock win as well,i've always liked her even when she's in shit.Bridges is one of the greats so it's fantastic to see him win.
And i second Shiva's comment re STAR TREK,nice to see it get some recognition. It's a wonderful film.

Ya i was delighted when I saw that Sandra Bullock won... LOVE her :). Also I'm glad Kathryn Bigelow won best director. To existo solvo... I do think she is the first female to win best director which is pretty cool. I'm gonna have to watch The Hurt Locker now. It is meant to be a great movie
  7. falcon The Lord Regent

I'm delighted Sandra Bullock won, i think she is a brillant actress and seems so down to earth aswell. Can't wait to see the Blind Side. I'm dying to see Precious too, Mo'Nique is meant to be unreal in it :D
  9. Micon learning young 'un

Delighted for The Hurt Locker. It was a fantastic movie. Gave a more realistic potrayal of what the American army get up yo in Iraq and such.

Avatar was amazing as well but meh. The Hurt Locker deserved its moment. :D
  10. Bootyzilla Myra Hitler

Mo'nique was excellent in "Precious", but one stellar supporting performance does not a good movie make.

It could have won three if there'd been a "Best In Show" Oscar.

In other news, what the fuck did Mo'nique have on her last night?? All she was short was a pair of leg irons and an old man river.

the only good thing about the hurt locker was the credits at the end.

i tell a lie, the bit at the start was good and maybe a couple of bits in the middle were okish but the rest of it was just boring inane drivel

"wow like war is like baaaaaaaad mannnnn"

I want to watch monique chuck the baby on the couch again that was funny and it shouldn't have been but it was and i'm not sorry so there

Delighted for Sandra Bullock... Her razzie was ridiculous... I loved all about steve!
  13. Invincible Girl Aloud

Haha! Me too! It was quite comical in a i-can't-believe-she-just-did-that kinda way.

And as for the Hurt Locker. Despite all it's critical success i have no inclination to see it. War films do not interest me. Especially American ones. And especially ones set in Iraq. I find the whole Iraq situation utterly tedious, so the idea of watching a film about American soldiers in Iraq fills me with dread.

Congratulations to all involved, but its success leaves me totally disinterested.

the bomb disposal bits were in fairness quite good but apart from that its really tedious and you just end up hoping he gets killed in it.
  15. ryato Hikikomori

Delighted Sandra Bullock won the oscar. I really love her as an actress.

No'Nique was excellent in Precious and it was def a deserving win.
  16. Stupid Cupid Gold Star Gay

    Love it!

    'with the help of God.'

    Weeeeeeeak for Granny O Grimm:D:D
  18. existo solvo is not the Messiah,he's a very naughty boy.

I loved Sandra Bullock's acceptance speech, she seems so humble and down to earth and it was so moving when she started talking about her late mother and her husband.i've always liked her,i think i like her even more now.Looking forward to seeing THE BLIND SIDE too, she's supposed to be fantastic in it.
