As there was clearly interest in some kind of road-trip from the April meetup poll, I'm thinking it might be nice to do an activity meetup in May? We could numerous things like karting, paintballing, laser tag and so on: http://www.kartworld.ie/ and then afterwards get some food. So what do we think? Would you be interested?
I'd be up for it if I'm not stuck in work/college. Paintball is great. Did it in February and it was hilarious.
Also should add that I've done paintball before and it can cost €40 to €80 - depending on how trigger happy you are. If you are thinking of a shooting game then perhaps Laser Combat Cork. The cost is more fixed at €40 per person for 2.5hours.
It is, went paintballing last saturday for a friends birthday. It was 50 euro but we got 2 or 3 free refills while out. after that it was 10 euro per refill so it adds up if you are not carefull. Still have a bruise on my arm 8 days later but it was fun getting it
I'd be up for it, whatever we're doing! (Although I probably wouldn't pay €50 to shoot paint at you people....)
Jeez is it really that expensive to go paintballing? It seems an awful lot just to go shooting at other people , mind you i could probably think of a few i wouldn't mind seeing shot. Oh and before anyone starts it's not any of you guys!!
it sounds great but i have enough bruises from work without adding to them, so i think i will pass, never been paint balling but dont think i want to after some of the stories i heard last friday night
Sounds good to Me! Well..if It's going to be paintballing at Kartworld...I dont have too far to travel! .. count Me in !!
Paintballing would be a laugh, alas I cannot take part, but just ignore my vote I'll just sit on the sideline and shout advise out like a cunt!
Despite my suggestion for paintballing I'm beginning to think it might be a bit on the expensive side. Quazar would be a similar but cheaper option!
yeah, it is great fun, but each time ive done it, the guns that we got were shite. I did a test, and aimed for something, and fired twice, not only were they not close (which could have been me) but they didn't fire in the same direction. that makes it more expensive, because you are wasting ammo, and it is probably in the company's interest to have crap guns
Just picking this back up again. On a quick review paint balling is expensive for sure, but I'll check out a few more options and get back to you all
