Forget returning to 'Dallas' this summer twas never as good as Dynasty instead tune into 'Bunheads' and return to a Gilmore Girlesque universe. Original creator of Gilmore Girls Amy Sherman Palladino is back with a fresh enjoyable show that is bringing 'Girlmore Girls' allum Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore) back to our small screens. The series is focused on a Las Vegas show girl Michelle played by Broadway star Sutton Foster (on a side note I'm so happy more Broadway stars are making it to TV as they make better actors like Brooke Elliot in Drop Dead Diva). Michelle is unhappy with the way her life has turned out as her years of dancing in the spotlight are coming to an end. She ends up on a drunken whim marrying one of her suitors and moving to his small coastal town where she locks horns with her mother n law and the disapproving townsfolk who have got it into their heads she was a stripper. Sutton Foster is fantastic mainly because she looks like Lauren Graham and is sprouting that same witty fast fantastic dialogue that made Gilmore Girls unique. So bottom line is if we can't have the Gilmores back then this is the next best thing. Its only one episode in and I am already hooked.
