Do bisexuals have the best of both worlds?

I'm afraid he may be with you, but womanly bits will always be at the back of his mind. I mean I love banana and strawberry ice-cream, and when I'm with banana ice-cream I only think about banana ice-cream but damn if I'll deny myself strawberries. Plus it's more convenient for him long-term to be with a girl.

Personally i believe that we are all bisexual to some extent! Its all about percentages - whether we're 50/50 or 90/10. Every man and women on the street has gay/lesbien feelings - admittitly most of them never act on it! Lets be honest, whether we consider ourselves fully gay/lesbian if we are really honest we do from time to time fancy a member of the opposite sex! o_O Its has alot no it all to do with chemistry between two people - after all we cant choose who we fall in love with - if only we could wouldn't life be so much easier!

I'd like to let u know about a friend who I haven't seen in about 2 years, we'll call him Mark for the sake of it.. well his name really is Mark, but I like the A.K.A thing....

Mark was 21 when I met him.. I was 19, tender like chicken nuggets i was!

I was really only out to EVERYONE at the time and was finding it difficult... a tad harder than when I just came out to family and friends (nowadays, i couldnt care who knows)

I am Gay... Gay Gay Gay! Dont wanna shag women.. the idea of a vagina in my face makes me SICK! Reminds me of the underside of a slug!

Anyways! Mark told me that he was Bi.. I dont care..!!! Happy for him! Go shagg what ye want! Exept kids and sheep....

He also said I was lucky in some ways... When I came out I told everyone... Im gay.. I sleep with men, I shagg them and they shagg me! WOOO!!!! now lets all head to the bar and have some cock sukin cowboys! :)

When he came out.. he found it totally different... ppl found it difficult to understand how you could be both.. not one or the other..

He found it difficult to go on a date with a guy one week and a girl the next..

Not that HE found it too difficult.. he found it hard for his friends and family to see him with a bloke... then a girl... then a bloke...

He told me that it made them more confused about the situation.

Now, as far as I know, he has choosen not to sleep with men anymore.. because he finds it too confusing on his friends and family.. (shame... coz he was great at pulling blokes!)

I feel sorry for Bisexuals, I know I have no right to..and Bi ppl dont want sympathy, but I do think that they have it harder than us when coming out. The confusion with family and friends seems to be more severe...

    Thats my 2 cents.. :)

Oh, one more thing... do Bi men find chicks with dicks attractive? Not trying to be smart... but just wondering! :)

I remember reading that "chicks with dicks" porn was primarily aimed at straight guys who happened to have "dick" fantasies.

Harry Bo, this Mark sounds like he's a chicken, and has huge issues with the gay side of his sexuality, whatever that might be. I'd be very surprised if he did actually turn out to be truly bisexual, if he's able to essentially give up men for something so insubstantial as familial confusion.
  9. Boston New Member

Wow. He's a chicken and you've no idea what his situation is like other then that is family and friends found it confusing. You've no idea what that confusion intailed. Was it years of constant arguements untill finally he gave in? Who knows, not you nor I anyway. Judgemental is a word. Also what would you know about truely Bi-sexual. I know allot about bi-sexuality, but very little about this true bi-sexuality you speak of. Please explain in 10 bitter cynical characters or more.
  10. Bootyzilla Myra Hitler

Now who's being judgmental? Hypocritical is a word too, you know.

As long as I knew Mark, I never knew him to be a chicken! Far from it...

I think he decided about sleeping with blokes after tonnes of questioning from family and friends, and not being able to give them any answers they wanted. If he did make the decision to please his family then, so be it. I dont think its one i could easily make, nor most ppl.

I havent seen him in 2 years now.. so I really dont know if he has stayed "off" men, somthing tells me he didnt tho ( we all know the urge to shaft some random bloke rears its head at least 3 times a day )

The issue of him being chicken, i wont comment on.. Im not in that situation, so I dont know what I would do.

All I can say is that I feel as if Bi-Sexual ppl do often have it harder when coming out.

There a difference between judging you on your post, and judging someone you know nothing about. Empathy and compassion are words too, look them up next time.
  13. LittleTimmy Ireland's Top Gay

    I agree there too.
At the same time in my experience Bisexuality is a gateway sexuality that generally leads to fully blown homosexuality. Obviously there are plenty of bisexuals out there, but I know more who have used it as a temporary 'foot in both doors' until they have accepted their homosexuality, than those who stayed bisexual.
I think that is why it is harder for them in some ways. If you are genuinely bisexual there is always that extra layer of suspicion to deal with that homosexuals don't have to deal with.
And in relation to the varying degrees of gay/straight. I must say I have yet to find any woman attractive ever, expept for this one girl who had a deep voice and a flat chest and played ladies football. And even then it was a crush of convenience rather than a sexual thing. I thinks I am 100% gay.

And what do you know about me, to call me both cynical and bitter, as well as lacking in empathy and compassion?

Did I not say that Mark *sounds like* a chicken? All I did was give my opinion based on the facts as Harry presented them - and, what with this being a forum, that's something I'm perfectly entitled to do. That's why it's here.

And somehow, Boston, you've decided all by yourself on the basis of one post that I'm some sort of emotional wasteland. You've done the exact same thing that you're criticizing me for doing.

So what is it you're objecting to?

I'd love to shag Grainne Serouigreererere or whatever her name is!

Harry Bo your posts crack me up!

    Sky newsexual!

I never find woman attractive but can say if one is good looking. Sex with a woman........NO WAY!!!
  17. Bootyzilla Myra Hitler

I wouldn't say No Way ever... but for the vast majority of the time, then no way...

I do remember taking quite a shine to Lynda Carter in 'Wonder Woman' when I was about 9, but that's been the sum total of my heterosexuality to date...
  18. Bootyzilla Myra Hitler

I tell a lie! Also Cally Harper-Ewing in Dallas, around the same age... and Linda Lusardi.

But that's all, I promise! Honest!!

I mean, what was I thinking?

No I can't remember ever finding a woman sexually attractive...... o_O

I shouldn't say ever I suppose, a lesbian couple may want my extremely valuable seed to be planted in their ladygarden... :p (Very crude...I apologise)

No PM's thanks........business is in liquidation at the moment.... :D

Fair enough, you "sound like" you're cynical, bitter, and completely lacking in compassion and empathy.

Based on my reading of your posts.

    LittleTimmy;
I find your post tiring. More gay guys call themselves straight then Bi, yet it doesn't seem to granish the same "Gateway sexuality" Bi-sexuality does. Since when is "confusion" a sexuality anyway. You would have to be insane to call yourself Bi-sexual in the hope of making it easier on yourself. It'simple confusion. Just because the majority of people you've met that call themselves Bi didn't turn out that way, means nothing. Majority of Bi people I know are just that Bi. They don't shout about it, because some bright spark will label them comfused, or on the fence, or maybe the nicity of having a "gateway sexuality". I mena wtf someone that fucks computers? to tired for this stuff.
