Hi all, It's time to start planning our Summer Road Trip :)

One possibility that has occurred to me - though it may be too soon - is Kilkenny's Out for the Weekend which is running from the 24-26th of August.

Fail that we can start planning a trip elsewhere, say West Cork/Kerry and so on.

Let me know what you think and please feel free to make any suggestions of your own

Hi all, I've gotten no reply off anyone yet re Hotel deals. Also a quick search of same shows that they are expensive/booked out for that weekend.

However there are plenty of good value B&B's, that we should book asap.

Do we go for 1 or 2 nights?
  14. Invincible Girl Aloud

How about two nights? We stayed in a B&B for two nights last summer in Galway and that was a great success. Kilkenny is renowned for its expensive hotels so B&Bs might be our best bet.

    2 nights seem best overall.

Was just onto a Kilkenny native that many of you know, and he also says to book B&B asap!

Will do more research later on.
