Welcome, welcome! Kinsale seems to be quite progressive in that regards. If my memory serves me well a drag queen won the local beauty contest a few years ago
Well this is Ireland so you won't find anything like Sitges or Mykonos! But Kinsale has always tended to attract a lot of outsiders which presumably lends it a more cosmopolitan and open-minded air. You won't find it dripping in gay flags (thank God!) or be visibly 'gay' but it should be very laidback with a live-and-let-live vibe.
