Guess How Much in the Bin -For a Donation to Charity

This is just for a bit of fun.

I have just started to count how much I have saved in my Coin Bin.

The Dimensions of the Bin are 29cm High by 14cm Square.
The Bin’s contents consist of a mixture of 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, €1 & €2 Coins.

The Bin is just over ¾ filled.

I will donate 5% of the Total in the Bin to the Nominated Registered Cork Charity of choice of the person on this Forum who guesses the correct amount.

Whatever the final total is, I will guarantee a minimum donation of €50.

If the correct amount is not guessed, the Registered Charity nominated by the person who has guessed the nearest to the final total will be the beneficiary.

I will forward the Charity’s receipt as proof to Admin.

So get guessing Lads & Lassies and I’ll get counting and your favourite Cork charity could be the beneficiary.

Please include your choice of the Registered Cork Charity when posting your Guess.

Forgot to add that closing time for your guess will be Midnight on 7th December 2010.

Well I am still counting. I am a good way into the bin and already I have over €300. I didn't think I had that much. So keep guessing.

I've two charities in mind both of which are close to my heart - First is Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland (my bro is a sufferer and this association has been a help). The other is Samaritans.
