Woo Hoo, Kilkenny the only city in ROI without a gay bar finally gets one and its all thanks to Waterford. The owners of Waterfords gay bar Dignity are opening up the gay bar in Kilkenny and twill be aptly named Dignity 2. Like Dynasty and Dynasty 2 -the colbys, hee hee. There will be a bus going from waterford to kilkenny on its opening night and I plan to be on it so will keep everyone posted as to what its like. Lets hope Dignity 2 doesn't go the same way as Dynasty 2 and get cancelled after 2 years.
To be fair, I don't think Emma Samms is going to be abducted by ST: TNG rejects in Kilkenny, I'd say it's going to be grand
I must say I am more amazed by the fact that Kilkenny is a City than It having a GayBar. Whats next Knocknagashal will declare itself a city.

There's talks of Athlone (!!) getting city status, so maybe someday there will be a "Dignity 3" there.....
Or D3.....imagine confusing the Dub's...I was in D4 last night, HAHA I think that Dignity expanding into other cities just proves how potentially profitable the "pink pound" is!!
My brother lives in Kilkenny and i go up there quite a lot. It's a beautiful place with a great nightlife - and this addition is even better news.
Thats great news. Someday hopefully we will have one in every major town and city. It might be sooner than you think.
