Pokémon! Just saw there in the interview the next person thread that there was a little bif of a following for the delightful little buggers. I am a bit obsessed to be honest, complete with Pokémon towel...

see i never understood digimon. pokemon was so much more straightforward. and had a way better theme tune. I WANNA BE THE VERY BEST....
i found it very disturbing that these little creatures run around shouting their own names the whole time (eg. 'pica pica!!!' or the only other one i can remember, 'squirtle!'). talk about self obsessed!!
i used to be mad into this, me and my mates would have comps to see who could name the most but thats when there was only something like 128 of them?? now there is loads thou, i loved evi the fox-like one that could evolve into 3 different Pokemon
Was never into the computer games or the CCG - loved the cartoon though (Yay Team Rocket! Yay the magnificently homosexual James!) ... although I moved on to other anime soon enough
Pokemon was wierd, what was wierder was my uncle's ex-wife forbidding her daughter to watch it as she said it encouraged animal cruelty.
well it kinda did promote animal cruelty in a crazy anime way, i mean stuffing one into a tiny plastic prison, mind when it could burn ur ass off, i guess better safe then sorry
@PeterMcK: In Japan apparently the more effete and James-like the man the more masculine they are. The more muscular and whatnot would be considered queer....
I was just about getting used to people raving about Girls Aloud or Pussycat dolls or even Beyonceeeee on Gay Cork but Pokemon???? C3van5 you shock me. Words fail me Scooby Doo all the way!!
