I went to see my little newborn nephew today after my sister got out of the hospital. Luckily for him he seems to not take after my dads side of the family as he has a big head of black hair and seems to have dark eyes like my mothers side.

Been growing a bit of a beard over the christmas period. Apparently it suits me but the itch is almost unbearable

I'm off the booze again till Easter - its been a very social christmas!

R.I.P Bob Anderson. He was a sword master that worked on some great films and was responsible for some of the best sword fights. Some of these include Star Wars, the Princess Bride, Zorro, Lord of the Rings and Highlander. This is one of my favourites

Got back to Leipzig yesterday evening after a journey that really was disproportionately long considering the distance involved. In total, it took me over 11 hours to get from my house in Cork to my flat in Leipzig. Madness.

The flight was really turbulent, too. We hit high winds (about 160 km\h apparently), and the result was that, by the end of the flight, I was ready to say hi to every meal I had eaten since Christmas. Once I got my bearings in Berlin, though, everything was fine. It was amazing being at home for Christmas - I missed everyone!

Dear TV3, as regards 'Celebrity Come Dine with Me', one is sending over a dictionary so as you might look up the definition of "celebrity".

In fairness I recognised Brian Kennedy and George McMahon. No idea who the others were.
