Just watched Muse play at the Olympics closing ceremony. The lyrics are a bit silly and cheesy but the music felt suitably big and epic for the occasion. Straight after it was a little of the late great FreddIe Murcury. Wish he was still around that he could have done it in person

Just back from the new Bourne film and I must say it was disappointing. It felt like a half assed way of continuing the series at best. It takes a while to get going, having us sit through a vague set up to a new government group with new "assets". The action when it starts isn't bad but it feels like they recycled a few set pieces from the trilogy...a motor bike chase through narrow streets and a roof top chase to name two. Without giving away spoilers (I can't seem to put in spoiler tags from an iPad, or urls or you tube video links) the film doesn't feel tight, more of a sequence of events until the end credits roll. The end felt a little sudden, the story was weak and there didn't feel like a build up to the finish. The last set piece felt like any other with nothing really to suggest that it was the climax of the movie.

Must say I am a bit annoyed at RTE claiming that London 2012 was our best Olympics in 50yrs, what about Atlanta 1996. 3 Golds and a Bronze.

Suppose they're choosing to gloss over the potentially dubious success of Michelle de Bruin. That and they must still be sore over the whole Pat Kenny thing with "Celebrities Go Wild".

Ok this isnt quite market research but I was asked by my club to see if its viable to keep our adult swimming sessions, do you think €310 is good value for a year of swimming tuition (30 x 1 hour sessions), and would you pay it?

Perhaps call a couple of gyms and see what the going rate is? Might be better research.
