No you aren't! I bought S1 on Friday and finished it early Saturday morning, I thought it was INfuckingCREDIBLE. I'm not the biggest Zombie fan in the world but I was totally blown away by the quality of the performances and the production values. It is what "The Stand" should have been. I am going to wait for all of S2 before tucking in; but I gather this will be 13 episodes instead of S1's measly 6, and I am drooling at the prospect!! I wonder will they resolve it or spin it out for a third season?
i knows! i do like zombie thingy's, but i actually prefer watching it for the characters , and they wont resolve it this season, they wanna make more, and since the comic books of the walking dead are still being made, there shall be no end to them as of yet
I can totally see how this would work as a comic (how amazing would a production of Y: The Last Man from the same team as this be???) but I could also see the arse being torn out of the premise as a TV series. As much as I loved S1 I would much prefer for them to leave it alone before it starts to drag - if they're not going to resolve the issue of the plague/apocalypse/whatever it is, the central premise remains a little one dimensional. On the other hand, there's volumes of potential for new characters and situations - maybe by Season 10 they'll all wind up in Japan?
its been a comic for years now lol, but ya, i thought the same, that it could get stale, but then again, they said loads of the main characters will die this season, and new ones would be entered, so heres hoping
I hope they get a few answers this year - Q: Why da fuck is this happening? Has Rick asked that question yet?
I kind of liked the fact that we never saw the reason it all started. We are as clueless as Grimes, it would be cool to discover the facts as he does
im sure everything would be answered as the series goes on, i just hope its not the same old "monkeys injected with a virus started it!" plot :/
Glad to hear it's back, thought it wasn't 'til the end of the month. My PC is busy fetching that first episode now
Came back after the weekend really looking forward to seeing the first of the second season which I had sky+ed, and what do I find? Nothing, the fecking thing failed to record. Its not too bad though, there's a repeat on tonight so I'll have to hang on till then!
the budget has been slashed quite considerably... And there's nobody I'd do in the cast. Andrew Lincoln is far too wiry these days.
Is episode 7 the last episode in season 2 ? I kinda wish there were a few more =\. I've nothing to watch now. Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler I loved the episode where Shane goes to the school with that other guy =P Ive finished watching boardwalk empire too bah =P. No good tv left to watch. It's always sunny in Philidelphia has gone downhill too.
I think it just a mid season break but its back sometime in February. Homeland is worth watching if you're looking for something new
