I think it's time we had a gaming version of the "What Music Are You Listening To Right Now?" thread. This could also serve as a way from users to swap games with each other! I have a Wii and a DS. I did own a PS2 but I got rid of it when moving back from Dublin. At the moment I'm playing a lot of Mario Kart on both the Wii and the DS. OK, so maybe it works best as a multiplayer game but I love playing it on my own. It's just so much fun. I'm playing Tomb Raider: Anniversary on the Wii too at the moment. I like it because it harks back to Lara's great early days on the original PlayStation but it's quite frustrating in parts. Is Underworld a lot better on the Wii? My Wii fit is evil and will not be spoken of in this thread. On the DS I flit in and out of Super Mario 64, Sim City 3000 and Sega Super Stars Tennis. Games I'm thinking of buying soon: Grand Slam Tennis + Motion Plus (Wii) F1 09 (Wii) (not sure when it's out though) The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii) And I'd love to play Resident Evil again; can anyone recommed which Wii installment they prefer?
i have Twilight Princess if you want to lend instead of buying it new.. games i have been playing lately - ~ prototype ~ fable 2 ~ halo 3 (always playing it..) ~ worms all games for x-box 360 looking forward to assassins creed 2
I didn't know Worms had been remade for the latest gen conoles! I remember Worms on a 3.5" floppy disk!

I last played and cleared Folklore (yawn) and that seems to be one of the few fantasy RPGs available. I think I'm going to pick up Big Little Planet next week because I'm in desperate need of a good platform game. Not too keen on creating Planets though...
Chrono Crusade on the DS, loving it so much. The othe DS games i'm in the middle of atm are Phoenix Wright 1, 2 and 3, Yoshi's island, Mario & Luigi in time. Anyone have recommendations for any RPGs on the DS?
yeah you can get a vamped up version of the 2D one on the 360 arcade, its really cool, i hated those 3D ones i thought it just lost its appeal like GTA when i moved from pc to PlayStation..
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor and The World Ends With You. Both fantastic and interesting RPGs. Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride is a bit more of a standard fantasy RPG but plays really well.
The games I am playing at the moment are City of Heroes on the pc, just finished infamous on the ps3 and serveral guitar hero games on the 360. I tried Prototype but couldn't get into it really. Yesterday I reserved a copy of the upcoming Batman game.
Me too although it's ridiculous to be advertising a game so long that isn't out until November! Fable 2 and multiple Guitar Hero games for Xbox 360. Have a PS2 and DS but rarely bother with games for them.
I mostly play PC games, though we do have a Wii, and a DS each. Stuff I play most.. Wii: My Sims Mario Kart Guitar Hero DS: Brain Training mostly, not played it for a long old time though, so my brain is getting slobby again! PC: World of Warcraft (obviously!) Sims 3 - heavily addicted, very heavily! [:-B]
I never had any interest in games I'm afraid. I did think about trying it a few years ago when I saw the cover of the first Prince of Persia. God I was in love with that character......I need to get out more
Pokémon Platinum! GO! Magenta, I choose you! Pokémon Platinum used "Another Redunant Generation" But it Failed... Pokémon Platinum used "Fanboy Magnet" !! It doesn't affect Magenta. Magenta used "Replay Leaf Green" Critical Hit! It's SUPER Effective Pokémon Platinum fainted. Pokémon Platinum has fuck all else to offer. Magenta defeated Pokémon Platinum and was allowed keep his dignity for winning.
Great thread!! Wii I'm currently playing Ocarina of Time that I downloaded off the shopping channel. Apart form that I love Twilight Princess and Warioware (though it is too short) DS I was playing FFVI advance on it up until Thurs, when I accidentally wiped the game I was near the end, so dunno if I can bring myself to play through it all again. 4th Gen isn't redundant! It finally addresses the bugs of individual types being either physical or special types. What's the point of morbidly high attack on a Gyarados if he can absolutely never STAB a move? If anyone fancy's a race on Mario Kart, my Wii number is 8507 9965 6165 3647
Zelda, link to the past, Super Nes...Im getting pretty annoyed that I can't pass the boss in the Ice temple in the dark world and having to go all over the place to drop a block from a floor above to open the bosses door every time I die, I nearly had it at one stage but a snowball hit me
I woke up this morning with painful swelling of my left thumb pad related to energetically battling a T Rex using a Wii Nunchuck in Tomb Raider: Anniversary last night. Does anyone have any experience of using a 3G Dongle for online gaming? Would the 3G connection be fast enough to play Wii online? I'd need to buy the Nintendo WiFi thingy that broadcasts my "wired" connection to the Wii... or should I just get proper broadband??? (Chorus can't supply their broadband in my apartment complex so would have to look at Eircom and "telephone line" providers).
