X Factor’s MK1 are appearing in The Ruby Lounge, tomorrow night , the 1st of February

They will be supported by girl band Grenade, and there will be promotions and give-aways. Also some lucky ticket holder winning tickets the X-Factor Live Tour, which is taking place in Dublin in February.

Following their performance MK1 will meet people for autographs and pictures.

The festive season is upon us once again and South Paw invites you all to join our Christmas KiKi in Loafers Bar, 26 Douglas Street on Saturday the 15th of December from 9pm ‘till late.

To celebrate the yuletide, Mr. South Paw DJ Gerry will be spinning some tunes at the decks and Bear Supply are making a welcome return to Loafers stage, for what hopes to be another fantastic performance.

On the night entry is as always completely free and we will have some amazing prizes to be won in this year’s Christmas raffle: Tickets start from €5 for one line and €10 for three lines.

Xfactor’s Lucy Spraggan has been confirmeed for Chambers Bar on Friday the 23rd of November

She will be live in the New Look Chambers and afterwards will be part of a meet and great

Entry will cost €10 (with a free drink ) and doors will open from 7pm.

As numbers are limited it it advised that you come early to secure your space.

It takes place on Saturday 18th of August and leaves from The Port of Cork @ 6pm sharp. It will cruise all the way down the beautiful harbour to Cobh and back with a BBQ afterwards  in Loafers Bar. Onboard entertainment comes to you from Dj’s Jules & Eddie Kay plus your tour guide for the evening is the one and only “Miss Kitty Cartier”

Cloud 9, a club night for women, is returning to Cork on April 14th

Cloud 9, a club night for women and their friends is making a welcome return to the Cork Scene on Saturday, April 14th.

It’s taking place in the Blue Angel at Cork Opera House, which was the venue they use previously

Doors open at 9:30pm, with the entry costing €1, however all proceeds go to Bounce Back.

‘Bounce Back’ is a new non profit organisation started following the death of Erbie Underwood. ‘Bounce Back’ aims to provide Cork’s Youths aged 12-20 a facility for sport, dance and music, whilst providing emotional and psychological support to young people and their families.

A new night for the ” Bears & Cubs”  of Cork is being launched in April. It will be called South Paw and will take place on Saturday 21st April @ Loafers Bar (Douglas St.) Cork city, starting at 8pm.

To help launch the event , Dublin Bears (A bear social group based in Dublin) will be in attendance

Following the recent successful visit by X-Factor’s Johnny Robinson is coming to Chambers, they have secure another Xfactor finalist, Sami Brookes.

She’s coming to chambers on Wednesday 21st of December, which is also the same night as Chambers got talent final.

Doors will open 8pm, starting with CHAMBERS GOT TALENT FINAL at 9pm sharp.

Funk N Something presents their annual Christmas Adult Panto, “Snow White and three people who aren’t really dwarfs!” in Chambers Bar this Friday the 14th of December 2011

Doors open at 9pm, with a  €5 entry fee which is going to Cork ARC Cancer Support.

Cork Women’s Fantasy Ball

The Annual Cork Women’s Fantasy Ball is taking place this Saturday from 9pm in the Liquid Lounge, which is above Clancy’s bar on Marlboro street.

Entry is €10.

They will have 4 DJ’s over 3 floors and 2 dance areas with the velvet room being home to dance and disco and the main floor  everything from Rihanna to Blondie to Imelda May to Pink.

Attendees are  recommend arriving around 10pm as one of their special guests shall be making an appearance around then.

Loafers are hosting the pre fantasy ball reception from 7 with a fantasy cocktail on the menu.
